My name is Ben and I am an 18-year-old from Portsmouth who dreams of one day becoming a great journalist, to help me on my way I have started this blog, in which I shall document and record life as it passes for all to read.

Why read the news at ben?

You may be thinking, “why would I read this blog when I could watch the BBC or Sky News?”, well, I provide an individual viewpoint, being a teenager, and I will write about everything and anything and include my first-hand experiences with each one. I will not let my own personal beliefs cloud the facts, the judgement will be up to you to decide for yourself.
